Our Wedding Ceremony

February 6, 2026

Charbagh, Jai Mahal Palace

3:00–4:15 PM | Baraat

The groom’s arrival, celebrated with music and dancing. Guests are welcome to join the dancing or simply enjoy the moment.

5:00 PM | Jaimala

The exchange of flower garlands between the bride and groom. It is an important moment that sets the tone for the ceremony, and we kindly request everyone to be on time so the rituals can begin smoothly.

5:45–7:30 PM | Pheras

The heart of the wedding. The bride and groom take seven circles around the sacred fire, each representing a promise of companionship, trust, and shared purpose.

During the pheras, we ask guests to stay seated and avoid walking around the space. This helps keep the ceremony calm, respectful, and uninterrupted for the couple and the priests.

8:30 PM | Dinner & Reception

The reception begins immediately after the Pheras. Guests will not be returning to their rooms to change, so please select an outfit that is elegant enough for both the ceremony and the evening celebrations.

10:30PM onwards | Afterparty

Dancing and celebration. The dance floor is open to everyone! We will celebrate into the night.

IMPORTANT

Additional Notes

Alcohol

Out of respect for the rituals, alcohol will not be served until after the Pheras conclude.

Colors

Red, dark pink, orange, and reddish shades are traditionally worn by the bride; avoiding these helps maintain the cultural significance of the ceremony and keeps the focus on the rituals.

Respect for Timelines

We are following a very specific timeline for the 6th, so we kindly request all guests to be mindful of the timings.

Dress Comfortably

There will be no outfit change on the 6th between Pheras and dinner/reception —please dress comfortably, as you will remain in the same attire throughout the evening.

Breakfast

Available from 7 AM on February 6 and 7 at Taj Jai Mahal and Hilton.
